A Poem

we hug we kiss a wave goodbye
a smile a hug a tearful eye

our time a part is short and sweet
a day 4 days not nearly a week

we work we study we sleep the night
the days go by with lips pursed tight

then i awake with no more sleeps
anxious for the time to leap

youre home again just like before
your time away seems nevermore

and then it starts again you see
we wave goodbye just you and me
